The Malawi Research and Education Network (MAREN) extends its warmest congratulations to Professor Francis Moto on his appointment as the Vice Chancellor of the Catholic University of Malawi (CUNIMA), effective January 1, 2025.

His contributions to higher education, particularly through roles such as Principal and Vice Principal of the then Chancellor College, UNIMA,  and Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, highlight his dedication to academic excellence. His experience and accomplishments position him well to lead CUNIMA into a new era of growth and innovation.
